A list of education resources in Upstate South Carolina to ensure equal access to higher education and better career opportunities.

Greenville County Schools

  • Greenville County Schools now has students in-person in a different attendance plan depending on the school grade. Check their website for the most recent updates including school calendar, free meals, wifi map, backpack information and much more. To find the resources that are translated into Spanish, look for the “speech bubble” icon.

  • Greenville County Schools has created a video to show parents how to interact and learn how to use Google Classroom. Find out how parents can get emails from their child’s teachers with assignments and other class activities. This video is also available in Spanish. If your student is having trouble with their Chromebook, please call the Help Desk at 864-355-4357.

Greenville Technical College

  • Greenville Technical College offers Flex Start classes beginning in February to fit your schedule.
  • Choose from a great selection of class offerings scheduled just for Flex Start and still take advantage of ZERO tuition for Spring 2022!

Spartanburg Community College

  • Free tuition at Spartanburg Community College is available to anyone who lives or works full-time in South Carolina, with a desire to begin or continue their education. To Apply or learn more follow the link below.

SC Appleseed Legal Justice Center

  • The South Carolina Appleseed Legal Justice Center has a K-12 guide for South Carolina parents, this guide provides a detailed look at everything you need to know for children in regards to Special Education, Enrollment, and Discipline

Tri-County Technical College

YouthBuild

  • Goodwill’s YouthBuild is a community-based alternative education program that provides academic learning and occupational skills training in construction and manufacturing for at-risk youth ages 17 to 24 who have not completed their high school education.
